At Midnight's Breath

We orgy in rapturous horde
unholy choral lamentation
bone organ on stilettoes
the skeleton finger keys of our
   enchanted youth
moans a single lonely note
we capsize
eruption

under his scarlet gaze
thousand miles long
god of worlds
a flux mascara, the rivulet tributary
mauve host of swirling
   cumulous current
tannin and coffee

Jupiter's arc in Fall
bright lewd allure of his lonely red eye
sugarcane at dawn's dark
some croak soundeth off
some flying thing announcing
   angry crescendo
to join that jovial body
in passing
at midnight's breath.
